The MultiPlus from Victron Energy is an advanced combination of an inverter and a charger in a stylish design that offers a variety of features.

As a true sine wave inverter, equipped with adaptive charging technology and Hybrid PowerAssist technology, it enables comprehensive system integration. One of its outstanding features is PowerAssist technology, which prevents a limited AC source such as a generator or shore power connection from becoming overloaded. By first adjusting the battery charging process to avoid overload, additional energy from the battery is then used to boost the power. Another important feature is the uninterruptible power supply (UPS) function, which automatically activates the inverter and takes over power to the loads in the event of a grid fault or an interruption to the shore power or onboard generator. With a transfer time of less than 20 milliseconds, the operation of computers and other sensitive electronic devices remains uninterrupted. For systems requiring high power, the MultiPlus offers the option of connecting up to six units in parallel. This enables both three-phase and split-phase operation and ensures virtually unlimited power capacity.

To monitor and control the MultiPlus, a connection can be established with a GX device, such as the Cerbo GX. This allows the use of the free VRM app and the VRM Portal website for local (via LAN) or remote monitoring and control of the system via the internet. Access options are diverse, ranging from phones and tablets to laptops and PCs, providing users with extensive control and customization options, from system configuration to automatically starting a backup generator.
