The Quattro from Victron Energy – A multifunctional inverter and charger

The Quattro continues the tradition of the MultiPlus and expands its concept with additional flexibility and performance. As a combined inverter and charger, the Quattro allows connection to two independent AC power sources, making it a versatile solution for a wide range of energy supply scenarios. It offers the reliability of a true sine wave inverter, adaptive charging capabilities, Hybrid PowerAssist technology, and extensive integration options, including three-phase or split-phase operation and parallel operation.

Two AC inputs & two AC outputs:

The Quattro can be connected to two independent AC sources, such as shore power and a generator, or to two generators. It automatically selects the active source and ensures uninterrupted operation through the main output. Switching is so fast that computers and other electronic devices continue to run without interruption. The secondary output only supplies loads when AC power is available, ideal for applications where battery discharge is not permitted.

Unique PowerAssist feature:

The Quattro prevents overloading a limited AC source by automatically reducing battery charging and providing battery backup when needed. This innovative feature enables efficient use of generators and shore power connections without overloading.

Virtually unlimited power through parallel connection:

For applications requiring high performance, up to six Quattros can be connected in parallel. Operation in three-phase or split-phase systems is also possible, making the Quattro a flexible solution for complex power supply requirements.

Remote monitoring and control:

When combined with a GX device, such as the Cerbo GX, the Quattro enables monitoring and control via the VRM app and VRM portal. This gives you access to your system from anywhere in the world, whether via a phone, tablet, laptop, or PC.
