Mobile yet robust

The housing frames of all WATTSTUNDE® DAYLIGHT models are made of anodized aluminum – this lightweight yet strong material guarantees a high degree of mobility and durability. It is extremely weather-resistant and highly stable, making it the ideal material. Measuring 810 x 535 x 35 mm and weighing just 5.45 kg, they are significantly smaller and lighter than conventional 80-watt modules.

Specially manufactured ESG anti-reflective glasses

The high-performance modules feature acid-etched, anti-reflective glass with a self-cleaning effect (the lotus effect). A special pretreatment gives the solar modules high transmittance, resulting in increased power output. Whether exposed to storms, hail, snow, or salt water, their sturdy construction and water-repellent surface withstand even extreme climatic conditions.

Stable, wind- and weatherproof construction

Due to our personal commitment to the quality of our solar modules, we monitor every production step: from cell production to the assembly of the components into the finished product. Optimal energy yield

The WATTSTUNDE SPS DAYLIGHT solar modules are equipped with Sunpower cells with back contact. But what does that mean? On regular modules, you can clearly see the running, usually silver contacts (cell connectors) on the surface of the cell. These contacts are absent in the back-contact modules, thus preventing shading of the cell. Thanks to their anti-reflective glass, the modules allow significantly more light to pass through, thus ensuring higher transmission than other modules. The result is a significantly higher cell efficiency of over 22%, ensuring a higher energy yield and, in turn, saving volume and weight!
Optimal performance in the smallest space - the high-performance modules guarantee a constant energy supply, especially in poor and diffuse lighting conditions.

Protection according to IP65

The modules are factory-equipped with a 90 cm cable connection and MC4 connectors to simplify the wiring of multiple modules.
They can be installed and used in any self-sufficient battery application such as in motorhomes, garden houses, camping, island systems and all off-grid systems.
Thanks to the integrated bypass diodes in the junction box, the module can continue producing power even in shade or low light conditions. The junction boxes are protected against water and dust ingress according to IP65.

In addition to a 12V battery, you also need a charge controller to prevent the current supply and thus overcharging or potentially deep discharging the battery. This also ensures an optimal charging voltage and provides the necessary reverse current protection at night.
