Mobile yet resilient

The housing frames of all WATTSTUNDE® DAYLIGHT models are made of anodized aluminum – this lightweight yet strong material guarantees a high degree of mobility and durability. It is extremely weather-resistant and highly stable, making it the ideal material. With dimensions of 1462 x 281 x 35 mm and a weight of only 4.4 kg, they are significantly smaller and lighter than conventional 80-watt modules.

Specially manufactured ESG anti-reflective lenses

The high-performance modules feature acid-etched, anti-reflective glass with a self-cleaning effect (lotus effect). A special pretreatment gives the solar modules high transmittance, resulting in increased energy yield. Whether in storms, hail, snow, or saltwater – thanks to their robust construction and water-repellent surface, they withstand even extreme weather conditions!

Stable, wind- and weather-resistant construction

Due to our high standards for the quality of our solar modules, we monitor every step of production: from cell manufacturing to the assembly of the components into the finished product. This results in modules with a stability that meets the demands of outdoor use. They are therefore ideally suited for mobile applications in motorhomes, garden sheds, and all other 12V off-grid solar systems. Easy installation, quick commissioning, and pre-prepared materials make setup a breeze!

Optimal energy yield

The WATTSTUNDE SPS DAYLIGHT solar modules are equipped with Sunpower cells featuring back-contact technology. But what does that mean? With standard modules, you can clearly see the running, usually silver, contacts (cell connectors) on the cell surface. These contacts are absent in back-contact modules, thus preventing shading of the cell. Thanks to their anti-reflective glass, these modules allow significantly more light to pass through, resulting in higher transmission compared to other modules. The result is a considerably higher cell efficiency of over 22%, ensuring a higher energy yield, which in turn saves volume and weight!
Optimal performance in the smallest space - especially in poor and diffuse lighting conditions, the high-performance modules guarantee a constant energy supply.

Protection according to IP65

The modules come equipped from the factory with a 90 cm cable connection and MC4 connectors to simplify the wiring of multiple modules.
They can be installed and used in any self-sufficient battery applications such as in motorhomes, garden sheds, camping, off-grid systems and all off-grid systems.
Thanks to the integrated bypass diodes in the junction box, the module can continue to produce power even in shading or low light conditions. The junction boxes are protected against the ingress of water and dust according to IP65.

In addition to a 12V battery, you will also need a charge controller, which regulates the current supply and thus prevents overcharging or, if necessary, deep discharging of the battery. It also ensures an optimal charging voltage and provides the necessary reverse current protection at night.
