Votronic MPPT charge controllers are manufactured in Germany and are among the most powerful and reliable charge controllers on the market.
The MPP series from Votronic operates on the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) principle. With MPPT technology, the controller continuously and automatically determines the maximum power output of the solar modules several times per second. It then transforms the excess voltage from the solar module into a higher charging current for the battery (achieved through high-frequency switching regulator technology with high efficiency). This increased charging current results in shorter charging times and the best possible utilization of the solar system's power.
As an additional feature, the charge controller offers the possibility of constantly charging the vehicle's starter battery via a secondary charging output.
