Adaptive 6-stage charging algorithm:

Storage mode:

Less maintenance and aging during battery rest: Storage mode is activated whenever no discharge has occurred within 24 hours. The float charge voltage is then lowered to 2.2 V/cell (13.2 V for a 12 V battery) to minimize gassing and thus prevent corrosion on the positive plates. Once a week, the voltage is increased to the level of the gassing voltage. This creates a kind of equalizing charge that prevents electrolyte stratification and sulfation—the two main causes of premature battery failure.

The NIGHT and LOW settings

When the device is in NIGHT or LOW mode, the output current is reduced to a maximum of 25% of the rated output, and the charger operates completely silently. NIGHT mode ends automatically after 8 hours. LOW mode can be ended manually. Overheating protection: The output current is reduced if the temperature rises up to 50°C, but the Blue Power charger does not fail.
