How the Cytrix Li-Load works
The Cyrix battery coupler protects the battery from excessive discharge by consumers.
The Cyrix-Li-Load shuts down when its control input reaches a "free-floating" (open-circuit) state. When the battery voltage recovers after shutdown (this occurs when no other loads are connected to the battery), the BMS output goes high, and the Cyrix restarts after 30 seconds. After three restart attempts, the Cyrix remains shut down until the voltage has risen above 13 V (or 26 V or 52 V) for at least 30 seconds (this indicates that the battery is recharging). Alternatively, a battery protector can be used (advantage: very low power consumption).
