Sikaflex® 554 - 300 ml cartridge in black
Sikaflex 554 is an elastic, one-component STP adhesive system specifically developed for bonding large components in industrial manufacturing. Sikaflex®-554 exhibits good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates with minimal pretreatment. Sikaflex®-554 can be accelerated with the Booster and PowerCure systems.

Sikaflex®-554 is suitable for joints subject to dynamic loads. Suitable substrates include metals, especially aluminum, metal primers, paints, sheet steel, ceramic materials, and plastics. Sikaflex®-554 exhibits good adhesion to a wide variety of substrates with minimal pretreatment. Observe the manufacturer's recommendations before using Sikaflex®-554 on materials prone to stress cracking. Preliminary tests must be conducted with original materials to avoid stress cracking. This product is only suitable for experienced users. For flawless and easy application of the adhesive, the Wattstunde cartridge gun can be used. To ensure adhesion and material compatibility, preliminary tests must be conducted with original materials under the respective conditions.
The bonding surfaces must be clean, dry, and free of grease, oil, dust, and contaminants. Surface pretreatment depends on the specific nature of the substrate and is crucial for a permanent bond. For substrate pretreatment instructions, see the current Sika® Pretreatment Table. The information contained therein is based on experience and must always be verified through preliminary tests with original materials.
