SC503 - high-precision combined shunt resistor for the PICO battery monitor

It can be used to monitor the power consumption of large consumers (inverters, bow and stern thrusters, anchor winches) and power generators (shore power chargers and solar panels). It also enables monitoring of fuel, fresh water, and grey water tanks.

The SC503 is an innovative combination of a shunt and a tank level module. The active SC503 combination shunt ensures precise monitoring of battery voltage in 12 V, 24 V, 48 V, 60 V, and 72 V systems, battery temperature, and continuous currents of up to 500 A (peak 600 A). It is suitable for a maximum power of 7200 W at 12 V, 14,400 W at 24 V, and 28,800 W at 48 V.

It has an additional battery voltage input (2 in total).

The integrated tank level indicator features two resistance inputs for monitoring the tank level or temperature, and an additional JST socket for the temperature sensor with a JST connector. In addition, the SC503 module can also be used to monitor the power consumption of large consumers such as inverters, bow and stern thrusters, anchor winches, and the power generated by generators such as shore power chargers, solar panels, hydroelectric generators, and wind turbines.

The innovative protected architecture of the SC503 allows connection to either the negative side (up to 72 V) or the positive side (up to 24 V).
