Simarine VIA

The Simarine Caravan Control Set consists of the SCC8 display unit and the SPDU-52 control unit. The caravan panel can monitor up to 6 batteries, 14 tank sensors, 14 temperature sensors, and 20 independent current sensors (shunts), as well as control 2 relay switches. It is equipped with a Wi-Fi module for communication with the app available for Android™ and iPhone® smartphones. The app provides access to live data, historical data, and analysis functions, as well as configuration and updating of the panel.

VIA display panel

Information is displayed on a large 3.5" high-resolution IPS display with Gorilla® Glass and an anti-reflective coating for improved visibility. The device comes with 8 control buttons for convenient control of all connected devices.

The menu navigation is transparent and easy to use. All changes can be made using four touch buttons below the screen. The required installation space behind the housing is 30mm.

SPDU-52 power distribution unit

The Simarine SPDU-52 power distribution unit is a highly versatile module. Its purpose is to power other modules and shunts used by the Caravan Panel. With additional modules, the SPDU-52 can connect up to six batteries, 24 shunts, ten temperature sensors, fourteen tank level sensors, and two tilt sensors.

The SPDU-52 has three SICOM ports, two for additional power inputs/outputs (SICOM 1, SICOM 2) and one for the caravan panel (SiCOM PANEL). It also has four channels (solar, charger, main battery, starter battery) that measure current.
The voltage measurement on each of these channels is 0–35 VDC with an accuracy of ±0.5%. The resistance measurement on each of these channels is 0–65 kOhm with an accuracy of ±3%.

CAUTION : Install the generator in a clean, dry location, protected from accidental spills. Refer to the manual for further installation and wiring information.

Caravan Control mobile APP

You can remotely control your caravan panel with your smartphone via Wi-Fi. The app lets you monitor current (live) data from batteries, tanks, thermometers, and barographs. You can also change the caravan panel settings on your smartphone and easily update the Simarine firmware to a new version as soon as it's available.
The mobile app allows you to save current Caravan Control settings and restore them later. Furthermore, automatic backups of the current settings are created whenever they are changed. These settings are saved in a list and can be restored at any time.

The Caravan Panel is compatible with the following Simarine modules:

• SC303 Digital Shunt – High precision 300A shunt, for up to 75V systems.
• SC503 Digital Shunt – High precision 500A shunt, for up to 75V systems.
• SDI01 Inclinometer – High-resolution digital inclinometer for pitch and roll with manual calibration.
• SC302T Digital Shunt – High-precision 300A shunt with 2 resistance inputs for tank level measurement and 2 voltage inputs from two batteries.
• SCQ25 Quadro Digital Shunt Module – High-precision 4x25A shunt, for 12V and 24V systems.
• SCQ50 Quadro Digital Shunt Module – High-precision 4x50A shunt for 12V and 24V systems.
• SCQ25T Quadro Digital Shunt and Tank Module – High precision 4x25A shunt and tank module with 4 resistance and 3 voltage inputs.
• ST107 Digital Tank Module with 4 resistance and 3 voltage inputs.

Suitable tank sensors: Basically all resistance-related level indicators such as:

• Wema sensor for water and fuel S3
• Schaudt tank probe (an adapter cable may be required)
