Intelligent battery coupler Cyrix-Li-ct
The Cyrix-Li-ct connects a lead-acid starter battery and a LiFePO4 battery:
- when the VE.Bus BMS's "Charge Disconnect" output is high, and - when it measures 13.4 V (or 26.8 V) or more at its power terminals.
The Cyrix switches off immediately:
- when its control output reaches the "free floating" (open circuit) state, indicates a cell overvoltage or cell overtemperature and/or - when the battery voltage drops below 13.2 V.
Start Assist function: a short positive pulse closes the relay for 30 seconds (see diagram on page 2). A built-in TVS diode limits the voltage spike that can occur if the Cyrix suddenly shuts down due to cell overvoltage or overtemperature.
