Intelligent battery coupler Cyrix-Li-ct
The functionality of the Cyrix-Li-ct is the same as that of the Cyrix-ct.
The Cyrix-Li-ct connects a lead-acid starter battery and a LiFePO4 battery:
- if the "Charge Disconnect" output of the VE. Bus BMS is high and
- if it measures 13.4 V (or 26.8 V) or more at its power terminals.
The Cyrix shuts down immediately: - when its control output reaches the "free floating" state (open circuit), indicates a cell overvoltage or cell overtemperature and/or - when the battery voltage drops below 13.2 V
Start Assist Function:
A short positive pulse closes the relay for 30 seconds (see figure on page 2)
A built-in TVS diode limits the voltage spike that can occur when the Cyrix suddenly shuts down due to cell overvoltage or overtemperature.
