SinusMax – Cutting-edge technology
The Phoenix inverter series was developed for commercial use and is suitable for a wide range of applications. The development focused uncompromisingly on an inverter with a clean sine wave output and high efficiency. By employing the latest hybrid RF technology, it was possible to introduce a high-quality product with compact dimensions and low weight, capable of delivering any required power output with ease.
Maximum starting power
A key feature of SinusMax technology is its exceptionally high starting power. This is not possible with conventional RF technology. Phoenix inverters are able to handle the high starting currents of, for example, refrigeration compressors, power tool motors, and similar equipment.
Virtually unlimited power through parallel connection and three-phase operation
Up to six inverter units can be connected in parallel to increase power output. Six 24/5000 units can, for example, deliver 24 kW / 30 kVA of power. Three-phase operation is also possible. Load switching to other AC power sources: The automatic load transfer switch. For lower power applications, we recommend the Filax automatic transfer switch. Computers and other sensitive electronic devices can continue to operate virtually uninterrupted because the switching times are very short (less than 20 ms).
Computer interfaces
All models have an RS-485 interface. You only need our MK2 interface (see also under Accessories). This interface provides galvanic isolation between the inverter and the computer and converts from RS-485 to RS-232. An RS-232 to USB conversion cable is also available. Our VEConfigure software, which can be downloaded free of charge from our website www.victronenergy.com, allows you to customize the inverters as needed. This includes adjusting the output voltage and frequency, the upper and lower voltage limits, and programming the relay. The relay can be used, for example, to generate signals in specific situations or to start a generator.
The inverters can also be used with VENet, Victron Energy's innovative power monitoring network, or other computer-based control and monitoring systems.
