Victron VE.Bus BMS NG – Intelligent battery management for lithium NG batteries

The Victron VE.Bus BMS NG is a powerful battery management system specifically designed for the new Victron Lithium NG batteries . It reliably protects your battery against overvoltage and undervoltage of each individual cell, as well as against critical temperature ranges, ensuring maximum safety and longevity. Important: This BMS is not compatible with Victron Lithium Battery Smart models.

Maximum control thanks to Bluetooth

With integrated Bluetooth, you can conveniently monitor and configure your lithium NG batteries via the VictronConnect app . Thanks to Instant Readout, you can see important data such as state of charge (SoC), battery temperature, warnings, and alarms directly in the device list – without a direct connection. Additionally, the system receives all relevant current and charging information directly from the batteries, eliminating the need for a separate SmartShunt.

Flexible application options

The lithium NG batteries can be connected in series, parallel, or combined and support 12 V, 24 V, and 48 V systems . Depending on the configuration, up to:

• 50 batteries in 12 V or 24 V systems
• 25 batteries in 48 V systems

This allows for energy storage capacities of up to 192 kWh (12 V), 384 kWh (24 V), or 128 kWh (48 V). For even greater capacity and redundancy, multiple Lynx Smart BMS units can be operated in parallel.

• Load-break output for protection against deep discharge (BatteryProtect, inverters, DC-DC converters, etc.)
• Charging isolation output to prevent overvoltage (e.g. Smart IP43 charger, Cyrix-Li-Charge, BatteryProtect)
• Pre-alarm output for early warning of low battery voltage
• Remote controllable on/off switching for load and charging disconnect outputs
• LED indicators (blue for Bluetooth, red for warnings/errors)
