The SMI 300-NVS is a pure sine wave inverter, ideally suited for operating high-quality 230V appliances on board. Its continuous output power of 300 watts is sufficient for TVs, satellite receivers, video equipment, computers/laptops, battery chargers, and even small household appliances (mixers, etc.). It is also perfectly suited for highly sensitive radio and receiving equipment, as well as medical devices.

The VOTRONIC MobilPOWER inverters of the SMI SINUS series convert the battery voltage (12V DC) into a quartz-accurate and pure sinusoidal 230V AC voltage for operating all mains-powered devices. Designed for continuous operation in emergency and special-purpose vehicles, high-quality motorhomes, and off-grid systems, they feature state-of-the-art switch-mode technology, are compact and lightweight, and offer high output power with low power consumption.

An intelligent power-saving control system with automatic shut-off enables the uninterrupted operation of both high-power 230V appliances and small, sensitive devices with minimal battery consumption. Numerous integrated protection circuits, robust power electronics, and intelligent microprocessor technology ensure very high overload capacity (appliance inrush currents) and high operational reliability, even under harsh operating conditions over extended periods. The detachable control unit can be conveniently mounted depending on the device's installation position or even installed inside the cabin as a complete remote control (5m connection cable included).

Six LEDs indicate the operating status as well as the current power range of the device. The device can also be completely switched on and off via remote control. A special feature of the NVS series is the integrated mains priority circuit. This ensures that when shore power is connected, the vehicle's power outlets are automatically supplied with shore power, and the inverter completely shuts down, thus preventing any further power draw from the battery. When the vehicle is disconnected from shore power, the inverter automatically (and with adjustable settings) resumes supplying power to the 230V appliances.
