The SMI 600-NVS is a pure sine wave inverter ideal for operating high-quality 230V appliances on board. Its continuous output power of 600 watts is sufficient for TVs, satellite receivers, video players, computers/laptops, battery chargers, and even smaller household appliances (mixers, etc.). It is also ideal for highly sensitive radio, reception, and medical devices.

The VOTRONIC MobilPOWER inverters of the SMI SINUS series convert the battery voltage (12V DC) into a quartz-precise and purely sinusoidal 230V alternating voltage (AC) for operating all grid-connected devices. They are designed for continuous operation on emergency and special vehicles, high-quality mobile homes, and off-grid systems. They are constructed using the latest switch-mode technology, are compact and lightweight, and feature high output power with low consumption.

An intelligent power-saving control system with automatic shutdown enables the uninterrupted operation of both powerful 230 V loads and smaller, more sensitive devices with minimal battery consumption. Numerous integrated protective circuits, robust power electronics, and intelligent microprocessor technology ensure very high overload capacity (load starting currents) with high operational reliability, even under adverse operating conditions, over a long period of time. The detachable control panel can be easily mounted, depending on the device's installation position, or even installed in the cab as a complete remote control (5 m connection cable included).

Six LEDs indicate the operating status and the current power range of the device. The device can also be completely switched on and off via the remote control. A special feature of the NVS series is the integrated mains priority circuit. This ensures that when shore power is applied, the vehicle's power outlets are automatically supplied with shore power, and the inverter shuts down completely, thus no longer drawing power from the battery. If the vehicle is disconnected from the external power supply, the inverter automatically (adjustably) resumes supplying the 230 V consumers.
