WATTSTUNDE® SPS modules are significantly smaller and lighter than conventional 190-watt modules and offer a high efficiency of over 24% thanks to back-contact technology. The WATTSTUNDE® SP solar modules are equipped with back-contact Sunpower cells, which have a significantly higher cell efficiency than normal monocrystalline or polycrystalline solar modules, thus ensuring a higher energy yield and saving in volume and weight!

The modules are encased in a stable hollow chamber profile frame and promise maximum stability, even under extreme conditions.
Thanks to their anti-reflective glass, the modules allow significantly more light to pass through, resulting in higher transmission compared to other modules. The efficiency of the monocrystalline SunPower solar modules is 24%. The modules come pre-wired with a cable connection and MC4 connectors to simplify the connection of multiple modules.

Thanks to back-contact technology, the cell can absorb more light and convert the increased absorption into electrical energy.

In standard polycrystalline or monocrystalline modules, the running, usually silver, contacts (cell connectors) on the cell surface are clearly visible. These contacts are absent in back-contact modules, thus preventing cell shading and consequently contributing to higher efficiency.
Thanks to the integrated bypass diodes in the junction box, the module can continue to produce power even in shading or low light conditions.
