DC/DC converter to supply consumers from the battery

The vehicle's on-board electrical system is responsible for supplying electrical devices. If the device to be connected does not match the voltage of the on-board electrical system, a special solution is required. Converting to two on-board voltages (12 V and 24 V) is usually too complex and expensive, or even impossible. Furthermore, the desired device is often not available with the required operating voltage.

The VOTRONIC DC-DC converters are available in any 12 V/24 V combination and enable the operation of corresponding loads with a continuous output of up to 25 A or 45 A without their own battery. Furthermore, they supply a stabilized and smoothed DC voltage, even if the vehicle electrical system voltage is disrupted or subject to significant fluctuations. This allows even sensitive loads not designed for automotive use to be operated. They are galvanically isolated between input and output, thus ensuring absolute protection against 24 V/12 V breakdowns. Furthermore, they feature excellent interference suppression and ensure clean grounding conditions for long connecting cables.

Activation occurs manually or automatically via the D+ signal from the alternator. Another option is automatic control via the operating voltage. The LED operating indicator provides information about the operating status and load of the device at any time.
